Emma Holland is an editorial intern at Street Sense for the Spring semester of 2015. She studies English and History at Georgetown University, and is also interested in law. After hearing about Street Sense from a journalism professor at Georgetown, she immediately wanted to work there. Emma thinks her Street Sense internship is the perfect opportunity to experience journalism and learn from and work for homeless people in her new home: Washington, D.C.
Emma is a former senior editor of her university student paper’s blog, the fourth edition. Emma enjoys laughing heartily and convincing people that Long Island, New York, her first home, is a beautiful place.
