Street Sense offered me the chance to be at the opening of the new museum. I had the privilege to go inside with David Denny and Eric. The collection in the museum is amazing!
My intention was to just check out the sports exhibits. But when I got back on the elevator to leave, the operator stressed that I had to see the other culture floor. I ended up in the music exhibit where I took pictures with the mothership from Funkadelic and Chuck Berry’s Cadillac.
I suggest that everyone try to visit and try to get a ticket now for this summer. There are a lot of things in there to learn about that they don’t teach you in school. It is an all day trip.
