I have a dream

Graphic by Bruna Costa

Black history leader Martin Luther King Jr. had a dream for non-violence. Though we were segregated at that time, he spoke with such determination it changed the course of the world. His speech should change the next generation so they don’t repeat the same results but change the course of history. Through his thought-provoking speech, his words of affirmation have a solid rock of brotherhood. And we shouldn’t be content or return to business as usual. Not hate but love conquers hate. You shouldn’t meet injustice with hatred or physical force but with happiness and the pursuit of justice.

We believe ending homelessness begins with listening to the stories of those who have experienced it.
