Driven

My motivation for determination comes from inspiration,
I’m inspired by my tries,
Though when I fail it hurts for real,
in life, it’s a must I rise,
Like Maya Angelou communicating with Langston Hughes
about dreams deferred, that turns into caged birds,
As a people of color we must continue to learn,
And never stop marching like
Dr. Martin,
Who can stop us — but us,
Hands down,
Fist up,
Yup.
