Former Operations Manager
Raven Neely was the Manger of Operations at Street Sense Media. Her role managed vital back office functions while overseeing crucial elements such as tech support and volunteer recruitment.
An Atlanta native, she comes to D.C. with a background in publishing, having worked professionally as both editor and project manager and serving her community as a writing mentor to middle school students.
She received her B.A. in English at Georgia State University. After graduating, she spent a year abroad in Thailand gathering preliminary research on the impact of everyday violence on collective memory as perpetuated in folklore and traditional media.
Raven is currently seeking her Master’s degree at American University’s School of International Service, studying Ethics, Peace, and Human Rights with a focus on communications in peacebuilding and social justice.
