Olivia Zhang is a rising senior at George Washington University majoring in International Affairs with double-concentration in Security Policy and Middle East and minoring in Journalism and Mass Communication. Her career objective lies within the intersection of Journalism and International Politics. In the past six months, she studied abroad at Tel Aviv, Israel and explored the entire country and five Palestinian cities. This experience sparked her interest to interact with people coming from various backgrounds from an outsider’s perspective. She is enthusiastic to engage with D.C. homeless communities, social justice advocates, and politicians as an outsider as well. In the future, she aspires to be a political commentator or international correspondent in the Middle East.
