Nana-Sentuo Bonsu is a reporter with FOX5. Before joining the FOX affiliate in Washington, D.C., she worked as a reporter at WXYZ in Detroit covering everything from the COVID-19 pandemic, extreme weather including tornados, the deadly Oxford High School shooting that struck the community and the areas on-going infrastructure issues that continue to impact residents.
She’s also worked as a multimedia journalist in Accra, Ghana; Norfolk, Virginia; and Greensboro, North Carolina. Nana-Sentuo kicked off her passion for storytelling at Virginia Commonwealth University where received her degree in Broadcast Journalism.
She’s a member of the National Association of Black Journalists.
Outside of the newsroom, Nana-Sentuo enjoys traveling, especially going back to Ghana to spend time with family. She lives in Northern Virginia with her family.
