LaShaune Littlejohn

Originally from the Washington Metropolitan Area, LaShaune has been passionate about helping people struggling with homelessness for many years. She is a business operations professional with over 15 years’ experience in all areas of office infrastructure and nonprofit management. She currently works in development & communications for Community of Hope, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to improve health and end family homelessness to make Washington, DC more equitable, and previously worked with Everyone Home DC and Shirley’s Place. In 2017, LaShaune founded Phoenix Star Creative, helping businesses, organizations, entrepreneurs and individuals alike build their dreams on their journeys to move their career and business objectives to the next level. Through Phoenix Star Creative, LaShaune partners with Street Sense to host her Computer Literacy and Resume Writing workshop for our vendors, helping them with things from learning to set up an email account to creating a YouTube page and developing a concept for one’s own YouTube Channel. Her workshop aims to meet people where they are in their current ventures to help them build their dreams and acquire the tech knowledge that they need to get there.
