Keirsten is a senior Journalism student with a minor in Spanish and concentrations in Broadcasting and Women’s Studies at the University of Maryland, College Park. She is also currently the eMarketing & TV Production Intern with The EmeraldPlanet Foundation, a nonprofit organization raising awareness about environmental issues and sustainable practices. Keirsten has a passion for social justice issues and politics. With a great interest in videography and the news, she hopes to continue doing journalistic work for nonprofits in the future.
