Dan Webber is the General Manager of Edelman’s digital team in Washington DC. His team provides companies and organizations strategic counsel specific to digital storytelling, branding and reputation matters.
Dan specializes in helping clients prepare for, navigate and overcome digital issues that start or spread online. This includes developing online reputation management programs; social media-focused communications plans; digital transformation planning; in-depth training and simulations; and helping clients identify, build and leverage strategic relationships with online influencers. Dan’s team spearheads digital programs that includes a full suite of offerings from creative, dev/tech, analytics, measurement, search engine optimization, performance marketing, paid amplification, etc.
He is also currently serving as an adjunct professor at Georgetown, teaching a graduate level class on Digital Crisis Management. Before moving into public relations, Dan worked as a college administrator in residential community development. Webber attended The College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia where he earned his bachelor of business administration in marketing.
