Cara Halford is a sophomore studying journalism and international studies at American University. Cara is currently the features section editor of AU’s student run newspaper The Eagle and has reported on issues and current events across the D.C. region. Cara has worked in digital and print journalism as well as in graphic design. Originally from Boise, Idaho she has always been invested in bringing attention to the affordable housing crisis and she is looking forward to bringing this passion to Street Sense Media during her time as an editorial intern.
