Azaria Jackson

Video Storytelling Intern – Spring 2024

Azaria Jackson began her communications career in high school as a member of Lincoln Live, where she produced video stories and directed and anchored broadcast shows. Jackson won an Emmy award for “Diaspora: Voices of an Everchanging America.” This motivated her to major in Journalism and minor in Afro-American Studies at Howard University. Jackson is a senior there and will earn the B.A. in Media Journalism & Film in spring 2024. Jackson served as a member of the Howard University Spotlight News Network, was a staff writer, graphic designer, creative director and newly appointed Managing Editor of 101 Magazine and was a Student Council Health & Wellness coordinator and is currently the Social Media Manager of the Howard University School of Communications. Jackson also danced as a member of the Bisonette Dance Ensemble where she performed and participated in their college and community events.
