Anna is an incoming senior at Georgetown University from California studying Justice and Peace Studies and Journalism. She is passionate about using writing as a tool to combat social injustice and make change.
Anna’s service at Georgetown Ministry Center, a center for people experiencing homelessness, and Bright Beginnings, a school for children experiencing homelessness, led her to want to serve those living on the margins of society in her future career. After writing for Georgetown’s student newspaper, The Hoya, and NBCWashington.com, Anna looks forward to using her journalistic experience to assist the Street Sense team.
