The Community Referral and Resource Center is run by the US Department of Veteran’s Affairs.

Emergency Assistance
~The Center is open 24/7 and veterans can come in at any time
~Homeless vets are able to receive primary care and mental health care at any time of the day.
~If an individual visits the CCRC in the middle of the night and there are no doctors present, VA staff can connect them to state of the art technology to remotely access medical services from doctors across the country.

Medical Care & Psychiatric Care
~They provide health care services to homeless veterans in the D.C. area.
~They also have Mental Health professionals on call

Employment Assistance
~They have vocational rehabilitation specialists to help veterans transition back into the civilian workforce.
`They also offer a Veterans Supported Employment Program which assists vets in finding and maintaining employment in the workforce.

Other services
~They offer access to a computer lab
~Their facility has laundry machines open for any veterans who walk in
~They also offer shower facilities.
