The Feast 

I’m cooking for the priest, crepès stuff with crabmeat;

should I also do dessert? I’m not a showoff, nor am I a flirt.

What if he’s allergic to shellfish? Anyway, I hope he likes this dish.

Will I be cooking all the time? Are the others cooking for him worth a dime?

I’m a great cook; I’ve cooked all my life. I was thinking, maybe the priest needs a wife!
