Rain

I am watching them –
Seven leaves falling from the sky
Spinning down from the tree.
I see you taste them –
The rain falls downward to me
As I catch them all.
Clutch my handkerchief,
As the rain fills the sky’s cloud.
The wallpaper falls,
I see the cherry blossoms
Shed a fast raindrop.
As I creep to lunch,
A butterfly fills me up!
I stand with the leaf folds.
Falls slowly inward
Flakes of pretty papercuts.
My sun rises up!
I see a pattern –
A flake of snow falling down;
I make sleeping sounds.
