Poem: The Wolf

Hammer, hammer away.
Suck in to our display
of levity as we indulge,
in corruption, colorful sunctioning of souls
now at full bulge.
They say “practice it while you are young-
be sharp in mastery at con and thievery
with the tongue.
Hey why not sneak a soul or two?
Engulf the lambs-
it will make a sheep life enticing.
Just a hit—a bam.
Pierce the heart.
You know the button.
Make her lay in your darkness,
your silly dead darkness,
as hoping to engulf,
the spirit of that innocent lamb.
Then BANG.
The tables turn.
You haven’t a clue.
Ass you are left with
is your whining—boo ho.
You fool!
What you took from that lamb
will be taken from you.
Threefold.
Who gets the last laugh?
And who finishes last?
You have no control over the finale.
GOODBYE.
