Dr. Martin Luther King Jr said that “love is the force that binds us all together. He believed in something he called the “promise land.” I believe he was referring to the children of God, people of all backgrounds: Asians, Africans, Latinos, Europeans and everyone. Though we all look different, we all bleed the same shades of red or purple. We are all humans. Like King, I also believe we are all part of one family. We’re all created equal in God’s eyes and we all have sin for which God gave his only son, Jesus Christ, our Lord and savior.
