Lots of indoor fun

Its getting cold outside but the inside offers lots of fun things to do. Let me take you through them.

My family and I make an event out of a sports, gathering to play basketball. We are hitting a lot of 2-point baskets, a few are hitting 4-points from half court, then a few people join us in this fun. We are filled with bloopers like dropping the ball while dribbling and letting the ball hit us. Sometimes, the ball passes us by when we are supposed to catch it. All of us are laughing when we make all the free throws and layups.

The next day, our friends and us go to Dave and Busters to play games. We play a game where digital horses run to the finish line. The horse I pick is wearing green polka dots. I lose that game but Frank wins with his gold- and black-caped horse. We play pinball, shouting and tapping the machine. My ball is hitting and going through loop-holes and dropping down through the hills in the game. My score is high and I win a radio. Mark wins a figurine. Gladys wins a tufted duck. Ann wins some money. We also play a game where you roll a ball through holes but don’t let it go in the gutter, which gives us tickets to buy items from the gift area. We work up a huge appetite.

We eat cheeseburger deluxes, pizza, and popcorn with a large strawberry daiquiri. For dessert, we order a cake. We don’t expect it, but they bring a huge extra large cake that would feed a giant and then some. We are nice enough to give some cake to all the fan club that was playing with us. Then everyone prays to have a safe drive home and a blessed night of rest.
