I am a high school graduate and I live in Washington, D.C. I am 27 years old and have five beautiful children and two brothers. I became homeless when I ran away from home to be with my boyfriend, who was the father of my child.

I feel happy to express myself in the newspaper because it is a form of therapy for me.

I want a house on the beach, with one level for the kids, and one level for the adults. I like ice skating and eating out.

My dream is to have all my kids together in one place.

We believe ending homelessness begins with listening to the stories of those who have experienced it.
