Helping Others

I feel good when I help somebody. The other day, this person was walking up and down the street where I sell papers at Van Ness. He was picking things up off the ground, so I kinda knew what was going on in his mind.

He told me he was homeless and asked for help. I would have given him money but he said he needed food. So, I went into the Giant and got it for him.

Doing that made me feel so good that I was able to help somebody. This would be a better world if we all could do this, especially on a grander scale.

We believe ending homelessness begins with listening to the stories of those who have experienced it.
