You look and feel like a friend,
Or have I been befriended?
Wait, what does a friend look like?
If you look too good I will try to marry you.
I would love to marry my best friend.
I understand I can’t just see you as my best friend, you have to see me the same way —
That’s how it becomes unconditional.
I know we can tackle life together, strength is in numbers,
Two heads are better than one.
When I’m weak I have your strength.
I get superpowers from this friendship.
Oh, this is starting to feel like love.
I just know you feel it.
You blush when we’re together.
When I’m cold, you are my Charlie Brown blanket.
Are you a friend looking for a friendship?
Or looking for a lady friend?
Is this me or are you pretending?
Is this forever or is it your part-time job?
Can we sail the sea of life
On this ship called friendship?
My ship docked, so you could come aboard.
Not to throw me overboard,
But so I could receive precious cargo
In friend form
