Why is it alright to hit a woman? Some men think it’s okay to hit their significant other. My question is, “Why?”
According to a recent Department of Justice survey HOW “recent”? We need a time context there was a 42 percent increase in reported domestic violence and a 25 percent increase of incidences unless the survey uses this language, we should strike “of incidences” because it is redundant of rape and assault.
Domestic violence is defined as a pattern of behavior that involves abuse in a relationship or marriage. Domestic violence can happen in a heterosexual or same-sex relationship. There are many types of domestic violence: physical, emotional; verbal; economic; and, sexual. Some of these actions can result in death. Studies WHAT “studies”? We need the sources show that 38 percent of murders against females are committed by an intimate partner. Domestic violence can include hitting, slapping, punching, choking, burning, and other physical contact to the person. Abusers need to ask themselves why it is acceptable to hit their partner. Abusers and victims both need help.
