Children reading Street Sense

I would encourage parents to buy a copy of Street Sense because their children will learn a lot about what’s going on in their D.C. streets. Not only that COVID is killing our people, but also that gun violence has been killing people in our streets for a long time, since I was a kid. I learned not to be around those people that like to play with guns. The kids will learn to pick good people around so they can have a better life. How should we process these tragedies for our kids in our community? I had a few children buy my paper on Wisconsin Avenue and they told me that they enjoy the paper because they can learn something. I told them, “Thank you for being a good friend.” They liked the puzzles and games. Some of these children will be good family members. So, please keep reading Street Sense and you will learn a lot.
