Came from where I’m from

It saddened me yesterday and hurts me to see my friends in a tent and hear my friends’ experiences. It is dangerous for the women staying in the shelter and on the street. Women are being abused, raped, and violated as they sleep. Maybe I’ll invest in a 20-person tent. I just can’t wait to get a house, something bigger to get people off the street. I’m ready to get a tent.

I want to chill with my friends sometimes or be outside with them in general for a couple of hours. I want my friends to know I am here for them, and I support them. I am no different from you. Never forget where you come from.
