My goal is for Street Sense to get better, and we need new vendors to make Street Sense bigger so that all of D.C. knows us. I appreciate all the staff here because they bring awareness to Street Sense.
Our vests are important because it helps people see who we are. I think all our vendors should wear the vest, and every vendor should get involved in knowing their customers.
For the vendors, I recommend they make a video, get involved with the workshops, and come to the writers’ group to write their stories. Our customers need to know our stories. I also want our customers to get involved, to not just buy the paper, but tell us what they like about the paper.
My customers know me by my name, and they know who I am because I make sure they know me. I am all around the city. If you see me, please buy a paper.
Lastly, I want the mayor to get involved with Street Sense, and, man, do I miss my cousin Kobe Bryant.
