c=md2. That’s how our Cynthia Mewborn signed many of her very deep investigations into life’s conundrums: pollution, recycling, the 17-year locust and social hypocrisy. There was no topic Cynthia wouldn’t tackle. And when our Street Sense theater musical creative group ‘Hope’ began in the mid-2010s, Cynthia’s mellifluous voice led the way. I shall never forget the joyful tears I shed when she held forth with “Precious Lord, Take My Hand.” When she fell ill, I found an embossed Nativity card for her — and how Cynthia loved her savior!
