Rachael Buck

Rachael served Street Sense’s Coordinator of New Initiatives and Volunteers before moving on to continue her career at A Wider Circle.

She joined the Street Sense team as an AmeriCorps VISTA member in May 2014. Rachael graduated Summa Cum Laude from Oregon State University with a Degree in Human Development and Family Sciences with a focus in Human Services. She previously worked in international development as the Initiative Lead for Central American Projects for the non-profit Enactus. In 2012 she was presented by Nobel Laureate Muhammad Yunus the award for 1st place in the Oregon Social Business Challenge, for a project she co-developed and presented during her time with Enactus. She has also worked in grassroots community organizing with North West Seasonal Workers Association, in which she served for one year as Volunteer and Membership Coordinator.
