Under Da Bridge

I be the bridge that brings you over

I be the tunnel that you cross

But why did Jesus die on the cross?

To pay for a sin-debt that we can pay,

if you follow the Ten Commandments:

Love, give, and obey

But what if I don’t have the know-how?

“I will still forgive you, my child

Don’t take your life and blaspheme against me

I have a place in paradise and forever I’ll send thee

For you I have a purpose”

On this earth you might feel worthless

But he’ll bless you, my babies

Sleep in tents for years? Maybe

For this house is not your home

And with Pwezzy, you’re never alone

I love you enough to care if your living and breathing

Mayor Muriel Bowser, you have got to go!

What you’re doing is strict neglect

Letting my babies suffer,

while earning a fat paycheck

All will be punished,

what you’re doing ain’t funny

Stop stealing our government money

Look at my test, the proof is in a roof

Go clean up my streets in D.C.,

and help Pwezzy’s babies, please!

——–

Dedicated to all my suffering residents in Tent City.

Rise, Ma Pwezzy love you.
