The holidays

Graphic by Bruna Costa

It’s the holidays again. And you best believe my holidays will not be at my house.

Before my family buys food, we buy drinks. We start off with six cases of beer and 10 bottles of wine. And let’s not forget the six bottles of Jack Daniels. By the time we start the food, people want a drink. And so do I.

Damages: drinks $540; food $237. My great-uncle never wants to take home a plate. He would rather take a case of beer or a bottle of wine. But, what can you say? It’s holiday time at the Blacks’ house. So stop in any time you want. You’ll have a great time!
