Staying strong with your mental health and anger

Sometimes you think you have a handle on your life and you don’t. I’m out here trying to stay strong to sell the paper, but I recently caught an assault charge. Going to jail was the hardest thing for me. I couldn’t stop thinking that I was going to lose everything that I worked hard for.

I’ve been staying with Pathways to Housing. Doing the COVID-19 pandemic everything just slowed down. It was hard to make money out here to take care of my place and keep it stocked with household cleaning supplies. When you start out here trying to sell the paper, you are being judged by people, but you have to remember that you’re working on your life.
