The decision to do so
didn’t come quickly
It was like a sneeze
so to a sponsor
and meetings
I must go
Avoiding relapse
makes the will of any man
superhuman strong
Thinking I can win
this battle alone
would be an attempt
that ends oh so wrong
Getting rid of cravings
has to be a blessing
only sent from heaven
and just think —
that one relapse
will put me back
at the beginning
