Happy Mother’s Day to all Street Sense fans, moms
I remember my momma in a joyful way
Although my mother gone,
She still right here in our hearts
My brothers and sisters are going to stay together,
Although they are living so far apart
Mom kept the family together.
We went to church with holes in our shoes
She fixed our dinner
And you can believe my mom put all her love in the pot
A special Happy Happy Mother’s Day
To everyone whose mom is not here this Mother’s Day
See, we learn that God said “Honor thy mother,
And your days on this Earth will be longer.”
We will see her again.
We didn’t have much
But the Lord saw us through
Mom might been sick
But we love her always standing around
She had lots of children
And she counted for something
She got life
Momma brought us here into this world
That’s why I always will remember my momma.
She is at peace and smiling right now
That’s a joyful thing.
