What’s happened to the benches around the New York Avenue Presbyterian Church where the new day center is? They’ve disappeared without a trace!
I would sit on one of them for 15 minutes while I drank my morning coffee. I would eat my lunch on one, too. I don’t understand this. If the D.C. government cared about the homeless as much as it says it does, it wouldn’t remove the benches. I’m 60 years old and it’s hard for me to walk.
Please bring back the benches!
