I think the city’s voucher system will work

There are thousands of openings all around the city for people to move straight into apartments. It takes time, but work with your case manager and it will work out. The process took me about 3 months and I eventually got an apartment. The tents are working for the people that want to stay on the street. The ones that don’t are in a comfortable space so that’s where they are. I’m an advocate to support people getting housing. The mayor is doing a great job. We all have to keep our best foot forward.
