Home for the heart

As the deer goes down to the lakes for water,

So we long for each other to live and laugh and love.

You alone are my heart’s desire to talk and walk,

And I long and hope for your love in return!

My sister or my brother or my friend or my loved one,

This poem with these words are for you to read or hear…

We have a livable, lovely, and light filled home,

In the neighborhood and the way of the world.

You and I and everyone get along through valleys,

High and lows, great times and poor, we get through!

In our home, there is comfort, rest and refreshment…

… for the greatest and the smallest and in between hearts.

Even strangers come into our home to get a chance to rest!

We will build our home to be a place of strength and peace.

Favor, goodwill, courage, and reunions will be our goals.

With a humble garden outdoors to sit and talk to each other.

Between our busy moments, there will be food, drink and merriment.

Trusting and finding gratitude in each other and everyone around,

This will keep our home warm, comfy, and cozy — a pleasant aroma!

Singing, dancing, flowing, and laughter abound in plenty!

Smiles, sparkles, and spring in the step are all around the place.

No hunger, no thirst, no sorrow, no want, no complaints…

…The home that we build is at One Hundred Percent!
