What is really causing the divide between Black and white America? Is it the digital divide? The hypocrisy and the lies? Or reality and the truth?
You see, everyone agrees that some of that shit on Facebook isn’t true. They are creating hate in other dimensions, even making enemies of me and you.
Day after day, they feed us untruths through our cell phones. When my best friend died, he asked me “Don’t let them tell no lies.” They’ve been lying ever since.
We need to expose these liars by finding out their names and who they are. Do not let them hide behind garage doors that probably have Teslas and Range Rovers parked beside their BMW motorcycles.
So, before they go on and airplane shop, let’s make it stop!
My friend said just because you read it in a magazine, or see it on the movie screen, don’t make it factual. So I’m challenging all my Street Sense readers, let’s create a law that says whoever publishes information must put their name beside it. Show your sources and your work. Anything else is playing with fire.
That’s how computers are supposed to operate: By making it easier to access information. But instead, we now have to work harder to separate fact from fiction.
We all know fire spreads. So, since we know that so much of the stuff they are feeding us through the phone is a burning fire, let’s put it out now before it destroys everything, past and future. Let’s expose these parasites who spread misinformation and don’t care what they write.
